1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Edifice ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of the Service

Edifice is a Christian daily devotional and spiritual practice application available on Android, iOS, and the Web. It provides daily biblical confessions, scripture readings in the King James Version (KJV), context teachings, guided spoken practices, private journaling tools, audio narration, and reflection scenes.

3. User Accounts & Security

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You must immediately notify us at supernaturalbrian@gmail.com of any unauthorized access to or compromise of your account.

4. User Generated Content (UGC) & Community Conduct

Edifice provides two forms of user-generated content:

• Private Journal: Journal entries you create are private to your account and never shared publicly.
• Published Stories: You may choose to publish personal stories and testimonies to share with others via unlisted links, displaying your author first name.

Strict Content Prohibitions: You may not author, publish, or transmit any content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, harassing, threatening, abusive, or hateful;
• Contains sexually explicit material, obscenity, or pornography;
• Promotes violence, self-harm, or discrimination against any individual or group;
• Infringes upon any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or privacy rights of any third party;
• Contains malicious software, links, spam, or promotional material.

Content Moderation & Removal: We reserve the right to review, unpublish, or permanently remove any content that violates these guidelines. Users may report objectionable content through our Support Page or by emailing supernaturalbrian@gmail.com. We investigate all reports promptly and terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these standards.

5. Edifice Glory Subscriptions & Payments

The daily confession and core practice are always free. We also offer an optional premium tier called Edifice Glory, which unlocks the full devotional archive, all narration voices, immersive scenes, and offline downloads.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed on an auto-renewing monthly or annual basis through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
• Cancellations & Refunds: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Subscriptions or Apple ID settings. Refund requests are subject to the policies of the respective store where the purchase was made.

6. Intellectual Property & Scripture Attribution

• Scripture: Scripture quotations are drawn from the Holy Bible, King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain.
• App Software & Assets: The Edifice application, codebase, user interface, brand assets, typography system, audio syntheses, and graphics are the exclusive intellectual property of Edifice and its licensors.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Edifice is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis for personal, spiritual, and devotional reflection. We do not provide medical, psychological, legal, or professional counseling advice. We make no guarantees regarding continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Edifice and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or inability to access the service.

9. Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via in-app settings or through our Web Account Deletion page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Edifice following updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
